Hi, my name is Chester and I am a Maine Coon. We are known for our friendliness to just about anything! We are commonly sought after as family pets, companions and therapy cats.
I am not just a handsome fellow, I have a great personality to match. I am entertainment at its best with my shenanigans. I chase anything that moves and I love playing in my tunnel. At times I get toys out of the toy box and play with them all by myself! I am amusing to watch, better than watching TV. When I am worn out, I love lying in a sunny warm spot and having a little nap.
I get along well with other cats and will definitely need a playmate. I would probably get along with a cat friendly dog with the proper slow introduction. I am a treasure for sure! Are you my purrfect forever home? If you think you are, apply to adopt me!
My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my foster family in Elk Grove.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
