About Charlie (and Pixie)

Born ~5/1/2020, M, Flame Point

Adoption Fee: $350 for Both Charlie and Pixie

Charlie and Pixie MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Pixie here.

Flame Siamese kitties have a definite following, people love them because they have very gentle, loving natures. This little boy wants to be friends with every cat or kitten and every human no matter who. He has such a good heart.

Charlie was left at a shelter, a”singleton” who weighed less than a pound, all alone in a stainless steel cage, away from his mom and his litter. He had a cold and goopy eyes which is probably why he was left there. Is this why he is so loving? “Thank you , Thank you, Thank you “.

The same day we got him we also took in another singleton, a little calico kitten named Pixie. My notes from that day say ” 1.1 pound. Heathy, cuddly, vocal. Full of life. Eating up a storm.” She hasn’t changed a bit. These two were soon put together for company and warmth and from that day they became best of friends, siblings in all but blood. These two cannot be separated and must go home together.

Pixie likes humans and attention as much as Charlie does but she shows it differently. Where Charlie is sweet and mellow in a deep, quiet way, Pixie will run towards you and say “pick me up” or “what are you doing- can I help?” , or “where have you been” or “have you brought me food.?”. She is a ball of energy. She loves and actively solicits your attention. Calicos think the world is theirs and you are their toy and they will show you, tell you and jump in your arms to get close to your heart. The baby picture we have of her below showing her standing on top of someone’s neck is pretty typical of her not shy personality. If you want to feel like a cat magnet you will enjoy Pixie’s attentions.

The love given by these two special kittens will fill some lucky family’s home. I have never seen these two around dogs but I expect the right dogs would be fine. They are both cat friendly but need cats who are not aggressive and will welcome them. Yesterday I watched a kitty who had never met Charlie brush off his greeting and give him a little smack with his paw. Charlie did not understand at all. He must be protected. Pixie would likely have smacked back and had no second thoughts about it.. As I said she is a calico. They are perfect together. Charlie and Pixie would probably be good family cats with with respectful children over the age of four. Or they could be perfect for anyone who longs for their loving company.

Charlie and Pixie eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.

Their foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Charlie is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
