Born August 2010, M, Seal Point Mitted Ragdoll
Charlie and his very best friend Henry were purchased from two different breeders. They are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together – no exceptions please.
Their current owners recently brought home another kitty and realized that taking care of 3 cats is more than they signed up for. They asked our organization to help find a perfect home for these two sweet boys and we promised we would.
Stunning looking Charlie is described as the more “aloof” kitty of the pair. Their current owner states that both cats are your typical Ragdolls. According to the Cat Fanciers’ Association, Ragdolls cats tend to be more interested in humans than some breeds of cats. They are known to run to greet you at the door, follow you from room to room, flop on you, sleep with you, and generally choose to be where you are. Many Ragdolls have been taught to come when called and play fetch. They are gentle cats, and usually play without extending their claws. Ragdolls tend to be floor cats, not jumpers. The Ragdoll’s semi long coat is plush and silky, and requires minimal grooming to keep it looking its best. They should be combed with a steel comb on a regular basis to find and remove any loose hair or tangles. Quality coats consist mainly of long, soft guard hairs. Ragdolls, just like all breeds of cats, will shed, usually with the change of seasons. The absence of the thick, dense, insulating undercoats results in reduced shedding and matting. In all, Ragdolls are well behaved, and easy to care for – perfect for our modern, busy, lifestyles.
Their current owner wants to share the following information about these wonderful boys with their future parents: They both love to cuddle and sleep together all bundled up. Charlie loves being in the bathroom, and hanging out there with his human. Henry, the kitty ambassador, has to make sure everyone is ok. He constantly goes back and forth between the family and Charlie, checking in each time. They both are major flop cats. Henry is a super duper lap kitty, and also likes back rubs. When his current owner puts him on his back and pushes him around on the floor upside down, it makes for quite a hysterical interaction. They are both very smart and have an uncanny way of knowing when they need to disappear (such as sensing that strangers have entered the home or it’s time to go to the vet). We just know that there is a lucky family who has been waiting patiently to adopt such a kitty dream team.
