About Cersei

Born ~9/4/2016, F, Ojos Azules

Hello, my name is Cersei, and I am a rare cat breed called Ojos Azules, Spanish for blue eyes. We are known for our stunning blue eyes and our beautiful tortoiseshell coat. My breed is as unique as my name, and we are known for loyalty to our owners.

I will thrive on plenty of attention and want to help you with everything. While you read or watch TV, I will sit by you and sleep with you at night. Watching birds is great fun, so I’d be delighted if you had a sunny window for me to sit in. Pick me up, and I will settle in the crook of your arm and purr, reaching up with my paw to touch your nose. My purr is more of a chirp.

We are going to have so much fun together. I am playful and love batting crinkle toys, ping pong balls, wands, and pouncing on shadows! You can roll me over on my back and gently bat at my paws, and I’ll gently swat at your hands.

When I meet new people, I can be a bit shy, so please be patient while I warm up. Then I will be your constant companion. I do need a calm environment and the run of your home. No other pets please.

I do have a food allergy, and it’s a MUST that I will be on a prescription diet, Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein which I am doing very well on.

Cersei is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Elk Grove.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Cersei, please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Nancy Flora at gogirlnancy0517@gmail.com or 9167611929. If you are unable to reach Nancy Flora, please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
