About Catherine the Great

Catherine, Colby, and Miles came in with a group of kittens from Stockton. What this beautiful kitten’s background is, we do not know, but I am so happy to have her. Her long tail and so-soft fur are reminiscent of a ragdoll. Lapcat? Getting there. I can usually count on her arriving for some pets several times a day, and occasionally, a bit of lap time. That time will grow as she gets older and more settled.
While she isn’t keen to play with the adult cats in her foster home, she plays with her two fellow rescue kittens, and she plays rough! She makes the little boys cry. Of course, when they reciprocate, she hisses and lets them know that they are ungentlemanly!
She is active and plays with all of the cat toys, even getting into the toy box to choose her own. After discovering the bathroom, I suspect it was she who unwound the TP and the paper towels, although I’m also sure she had plenty of help.
Catherine is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Davis.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
