About Captain Jack
Born ~4/2022, M, Mitted Maine Coon Mix
Adoption Fee: $175
Captain Jack is a 3 month old, male Maine Coon mix kitten. Notice Captain Jack’s graceful, long ear tufts and his mitted big paws, signaling that he will be a large kitty when grown. Captain Jack has thick, medium-length, silver-black, stripped, silky fur. He is a stunner. Captain Jack was brought to rescue by a kind human who found him. Captain Jack actually walked right up and asked this human for help, quietly meowing. Captain Jack had a severe eye infection at the time and even though aggressively treated, his eye had to be surgically removed. This has not slowed Captain Jack down in the least. He has adjusted well and he is completely healed and healthy and, most importantly, no longer in pain. Captain Jack is a fierce, fun-loving aficionado of all things playful. Whether it is twist tie, a kitty toy, his foster mom’s hair tie, any available human, kitty or cat-friendly dog, he is ready to wrestle and play. He has such a charisma and positive persona that even his foster mom’s elderly kitties will patiently play with him. He is just that cute. He will sit next to his foster mom and assist with any typing or computer work which he is doing right now. Oooh!! So not really helpful, but he means well. Captain Jack also likes his lap time and will quietly lie on his human’s lap or sit right next to his human and watch television. He will want to sleep and snuggle at night with his human. He is an all around wonderfully, funny and friendly fellow. He has impeccable litter box manners and is fully vetted. He is ready to meet his forever human.
Captain Jack is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in West Sacramento.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
