About Captain America

Born ~5/8/18, M, Red Tabby Domestic Shorthair

I always love the red tabby boys. This kitten is a “Classic” tabby which means he has a big round bulls-eye marking on each flank. He is a funny little guy. Playing like mad is his favorite activity. He must be cuddling with another kitten at night though because someone has been chewing on his whiskers (as in chewing off his whiskers). This odd seeming behavior is quite common with kittens. They will regrow and he’ll be fine but it is funny to look at the stubs on him (poor guy). I think you can see this best in the picture of him hanging with his tummy showing some stubs on his right cheek.

Captain A loves to run and romp and get into things. He has a huge amount of energy. He plays well with other kittens but also could be an only cat. He is more about play and exploration than he is about sleeping and cuddling but that is entirely normal for kittens his age. Despite his confidence he is still a bit shy with new strange humans. He is a healthy little boy who will grow into a big mellow lovebug when he is an adult, as the red tabbies do.

Of course he will come to you neutered, vaccinated with 2 FVRCP shots, wormed, and microchipped and combo tested neg neg for FeLV and FIV.

Captain America eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or email: harrietkitty@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
