About Cadbury

Adopted by Kalen and Megan

Cadbury was abandoned by his mother when he was only a few days old and, luckily, was found by a couple in Sacramento and so our Cadbury Cream Egg came in to rescue on Easter Sunday.

All white when he arrived, he has colored up beautifully and has fancy white mitts and beautiful markings.

As he has grown, so has his personality. He LOVES to be held and kissed on the nose. He is going through a ‘busy’ phase where he cannot walk anywhere, he sprints at full speed as soon as he is let out of his enclosure and doesn’t slow down until he falls fast asleep in the middle of the floor. He loves catnip mice and crinkle balls and pretty much anything that makes noise, rolls, moves (including toes) or holds still.

When he is in need of a snuggle (often) he finds his foster parents and purrs very loudly while nuzzling their faces or hands or whatever is closest. He does have a very loud voice when he is hungry, there is no letting this boy go without a meal! And he loves to play with the assortment of kittens that his foster parents have taken in to keep him company. But he is still the number one boy!!

Cadbury goes with his foster mom every day to her work (a veterinary hospital) and is a favorite of the staff. He is rarely in his cage, usually in someones arms where he purrs and purrs and loves to fall asleep on his back while being carried like a baby. He is very socially adaptable, does well with adult cats as well as the resident dog in his foster home. Cadbury has not been around Children.

Cadbury is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Woodland.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
