Bowie is a strikingly beautiful white with black Harlequin Sphynx. Her owner is in need of re-homing Bowie and her mother Mia. These two are not compatible together and are not available as a pair. Their owner has recently re-located due to pressing family matters. Bowie truly doesn’t do well with other cats, she’s pushy with Mia so they have been kept separated to avoid fights. She has been vicious toward other cats and runs from dogs.
This is what Bowie’s owner says about her: “I always joke that Bowie is more puppy than cat, she is just such an outgoing, friendly and fun girl. She is the first at the door to greet visitors and won’t be shy about making sure she’s the center of attention. Bowie is very sweet and affectionate, she doesn’t mind being picked up and is very tolerant of being handled and smooshed, loves pets and kisses. She’s not really a lap cat but will happily cuddle up to her people. She’s the one that the vets rave about due to how easy she is to examine- any kind of people’s attention in her books is just the absolute best. She is also the kind of cat that would not be happy to be in a home with a family that works or travels a lot, she loves her people and wants to be around them. She’s an average energy cat, she loves playing and gets the occasional zoomies, but she also naps most of the day and loves finding blankets to curl up under. She loves her little mice toys and leaves them all over the place. She is a pretty talkative cat, especially when it’s food time and will follow me around meowing loudly until I set her dish down. Bowie knows her name, she’ll come running and will talk back when you talk to her. She hasn’t been around children, but she’s such a chill and tolerant cat with people that I think she’d have no issues being around kids.
She’s currently eating Primal frozen, she likes Pork best but will also eat Beef/Salmon. She is kibble obsessed and will even eat dog kibble, she will stuff herself- she’s not the kind of cat that self regulates feeding. She’s been known to rip open pet food bags to eat directly out of them and run off with treat baggies left on the counter. Unfortunately, eating things she shouldn’t disrupts her bowels and causes elimination irritation. She’s very picky about canned food. She has Perfect litter box habits, prefers clay.”
Bowie is delightfully adorable with her people. If you are a Sphynx lover then Bowie will be your darling girl!
Bowie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her owner in Richmond.
