About BoJangles

Adopted by Kathryn & Scott

Born ~4/9/17, M, Charcoal and White DSH

Bonded with Missy Buttercup.

October update: Bo continues to be a delightful assistant. I get help with tying and untying my shoes, sweeping the floor, making the bed, cleaning cat boxes, typing, and filling the water jugs! In fact, he has a fascination with water, jumping into the shower as soon as I step out and waiting for the faucet to turn on so he can take his turn drinking with the other cats. He also keeps some of his toys in the cats’ water dish when he’s not dragging one to me so I can throw it. He does make me laugh.

Foster sister Missy jumps on the bed to say good morning or good evening, chirps when I walk by, arrives talking for her pettings, and lets me know when it is time for wet food! She usually sleeps in whatever room I’m in and cracks me up with her little solemn face watching me get out of the shower. Bo and Missy play together, ambush each other, often sleep together, and deal well with the adult cats in the household, playing with the youngest and steering clear of the older ones. Some lucky household will get two lovely, lively youngsters!

You can call this play monster a charcoal tuxedo with a mustache and a half. This is the kitten who loves to drag every toy out of the toy box and play, play, play. He loves chasing and being chased and his foster sister Buttercup and his half-Aby housemate love to oblige! He is currently retrieving his crinkle kick-toy on a regular basis.

He and Missy, a kitten from another litter, play every morning and evening. They really enjoy playing on their foster mom’s bed while she reads in the evening with Bo burrowing into the covers and Missy jumping on the moving lump. Bo and Missy eat together and chase each other, and sometimes, they sleep piled up if the night is cold. While Bo enjoys being toured for a bit around the house over my shoulder, he is more of a personal assistant than a lap cat.

Bo will come to you neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Bo and Missy are fostered in Davis, CA.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
