The owner of a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery asked us to help find homes for some of her kitties. They are treasures.
Bettie and Aria Luna are two of these kitties. They arrived shy and uncertain about how their lives had changed so much so quickly. They were in separate rooms and not happy. When we moved Aria into Bettie’s room and placed her next to Bettie on the cat tree all of a sudden everything changed. Magic! They both relaxed, rolled about and groomed each other, smiled at us, everything was now fine in their world. “Aha !” we said. “They will stay together.”
These two best of friends are quite a pair and they look very similar. The way we tell them apart is by looking at the white patch between their eyes. On Aria it is pointed like an “A” and on Bettie is it not.
Like most Ragdolls these two need a quiet, peaceful, orderly home. They are not good kitties for a home with young children or barking dogs. These gentle kitties want to be treasured, admired, and kept safe and secure. Aria is a little beautiful diva. Bettie is innocent and sweet.
The Cat World calls a light grey tan color on kitties “Blue”. Aria Luna is a Blue Bicolor which means she has an inverted “V” between her eyes. Bettie is a Blue Lynx which tells you she has a “M” on her forehead and may have some other stripes. Both have noses of the palest pink. Their tails and backs have some light brown set off by their legs and tummies which are sparkling white.
Aria and Bettie’s magnificent floofy coats are easy to care for. Their long hair doesn’t have the cottony undercoat that a Persian’s has so it doesn’t matt and hardly sheds much at all. It is super soft and wonderful to touch but grooming it is surprisingly easy. They don’t need a great deal of brushing though they seem to like it.
Ragdolls are known for their mellow, gentle behavior. They are emotional cats and need a happy home. With their sensitive nature, they will know how your day went and comfort you through the hard times. These two would like their humans to be home with them most of the time. Are you retired? Or do you work from home? That would be perfect.
These two are healthy, social, loving kitties. They are used to being around other cats ( no bossy ones please). They use their box perfectly. Both eat wet and dry food. Their most favorite treat is deboned and skinned Costco Rotisserie Chicken cut into tiny pieces.
Some family will be so lucky to have their loving and entertaining company.
Bettie is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
