About Bernadette

Born ~3/5/2022, F, Brown Tabby Maine Coon mix
Adoption Fee: $175

Bernadette is a stunningly beautiful girl who likes to act hard to get, at least to those whom she doesn’t know yet. Her life before rescue was scary so you can’t really blame this little gem! She’s not an introvert, though when you meet her, she’ll shy away so you might think so, but we promise, she’s just a good actress and playing hard to get! Any true cat lover knows that it can take time and patience to befriend a new feline family member, but that small investment in time is so worth it!

Bernadette aka Bernie is no different. When she is comfortable with you, she is sweet, cuddly, curious, and attentive. She loves a good conversation with you, lots of loving pet time, toys, and sunny places where she can watch her kitty tv and just hang out with you! We think Bernie would love a calm home with people who are gentle, and patient. Bernie can be a tad defensive from time to time with other cats but does love to play with her foster mates so a home where she can be queen may be best, though she would most likely be great with another non-dominant cat.

Bernadette is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Bernadette please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
