Scottish folds are charming cats that enjoy human interaction. They are quiet cats, but will happily engage in the game of fetch. Sometimes reserved with strangers, they have affectionate natures that will blossom when given gentle loving attention. They are quite intelligent and can be trained to do basic tricks. They have very even temperaments and are friendly, curious cats.
Bennett is a very sweet, long-haired Scottish Fold. He is just over two and a half years of age, but is a playful and loving medium sized cat. When he came into foster care he weighed under 8 lbs. Now he is over 10 lbs! He loves to be brushed which is very important with his long luxurious coat. He needs to be brushed about 3 times a week to keep his coat looking fabulous. He has gorgeous big round gold eyes and a tiny pink nose that is adorable. When he looks at you, he will steal your heart! He is a bit shy when first meeting you, but give it a few days and he will be eagerly waiting for you to spend time with him.
He is very food motivated and I’m sure you could easily teach him some tricks with giving him a treat as a reward. He loves chasing feather toys, balls and catnip mice. He also adores his friend Ashton. They are quite bonded as they have been together for most of their lives.
Bennett needs a family that will spend time with him. He always greets his foster mom at the door and follows her around, wanting her attention and pets. He stands up on his back feet till she gives him her attention. He so desires love.

Bennett is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Carmichael.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
