Born April 2011, F, Calico, American Shorthair Mix

When you research the American Shorthair breed and you come across the Cat Fancier’s Association’s website, the first paragraph states the following:

Looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family? Look no further than the American Shorthair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, sweet personality, and amiability with children, dogs, and other pets.

This is exactly how Belle’s owner describes this lovely kitty. The only reason why sweet Belle needs to be rehomed is because their young daughter has been diagnosed with a condition where she is losing her eyesight. They need to protect both Belle and their daughter from potential accidents since their daughter can’t see Belle in her path and might accidentally step on or trip over her.

Belle is unbelievably personable; she loves being around people and is a total snuggle bug. If someone offers her a lap, she will be on it so she can get some much appreciated pets. She listens to her name and will come running when you call her. She would also much enjoy snuggling in bed at night if allowed.

She uses her litter box without issues and is a healthy kitty.

Please note that Belle is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her owner in San Marcos, CA while being placed in her forever home.
