About Bean

Adopted by Amy

Bottle-raised kittens always benefit from being raised in a group, as opposed to alone. So, when a single orphan kitten arrived in rescue on Easter Sunday, the word went out that we were looking for companions to raise him with. Less than a week later we were notified of a pair of babies headed to the local shelter. When we called to arrange pick up the response was “Which 2?” Turns out there were 2 pairs of orphan babies in need so, of course, we took them all. And so our Easter basket is full!

Sisters, Jelly and Bean, opened their eyes very soon after arriving in foster care. They are both beautiful kittens with tortoise shell colors and swirl tabby markings.

Bean has big, beautiful eyes that miss NOTHING! If there is someone or something moving, Bean wants in on the fun! She keeps a watchful eye on her people, as well as her companion kittens in case some mischief is to be had. Bean loves to play with her foster siblings, but if they aren’t keeping up she will take off on her own adventure! Some of her favorite toys are crinkle balls, catnip mice, and shoe strings. It’s fine with her if there are feet in the shoes at the time.

Bean is sweet and cuddly, very human-bonded. She is creative in her napping spots, preferring the inside of her foster mom’s bag or the dog’s empty dinner bowl to your typical cat bed. A favorite spot to hang out is the top of the cat tree. The higher the better for this little dare-devil!!

Bean was raised with adult cats and a Labrador, as well as many other kittens in her foster home. She is well-socialized with people as well since she travels to work (at a veterinary hospital) with her foster mom every day. She is always ready to purr and loves to be held. Bean has not been around children.

Bean is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Woodland.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
