Scottish Folds are loving and companionable pets, getting along well with both humans and other pets. This breed can have folded or straight ears, short or long hair and come in a variety of colors. Folds are strong and resistant to disease, perhaps because of their Scottish Ancestry and the wild weather in their native land.
Ashton is a shy, quiet cat that is bonded to Bennett, the very outgoing, friendly one of the pair. He has a beautiful thick coat, striking gold eyes and a sweet face. And an adorable pink nose! He will require grooming two to three times a week to keep his gorgeous coat in great shape.
He likes to play with balls, chase laser lights and feathers on a string. He is mild mannered without a mean bone in his body. He has some fear of strangers, but no bad reaction if he is picked up to be petted or groomed. He just needs a patient owner that will give him the time he needs to feel he is in a loving and safe enviroment. He also watches his buddy Bennett, and tends to follow his lead.
He loves the scratching posts and uses them often. He also enjoys sitting looking out the window at all the falling leaves at this time of year.

Ashton is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Carmichael.
