About AriGato

AriGato is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate 4 year of age Maine Coon. She was given to PPCR at the end of May when her caretaker was required to move from San Francisco to Europe.
It is an absolute must that the individual/family that adopts her has experience and time to groom her long, fabulous fur on a daily basis. She came to her foster home with half of her fur shaved due to extensive matting and stitches from attempts to cut mats out with scissors.
AriGato is not a lap cat but she loves to play, be with people and take naps on a cat tower. She has been exposed to a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog in her foster home but does not care for him as she has never been around a dog. She would do well as an only cat or with another young Maine Coon who likes to play.
She just had a physical at the vet and is a healthy 15 pounds with updated vaccines. She is indoor only.
AriGato is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Tiburon.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
