About Alphonse
Adopted by Michele, Patrick & Brody
Born ~6/3/2017, M, Grey and White Persian mix
Alphonse is one of the two little Persian mix brothers, Edwin and Alphonse. These fluffy little boys are so breathtakingly adorable. They have the flattened faces we think of Persians as having but they are mixes and have a lower set nose than Persians are bred to have now. ( They are more like the “Classic” Persians of 40 yrs ago )This means they have lucked out not to have the compromised breathing that the “extreme faced” Persians often have. They also have the rounded low set ears and the fluffy soft fur of Persians. And of course they have the Persians’ sweet, loving natures.
Their faces are so similar that we learned to tell them apart because Alphonse with the “p” in his name has the solid “p”ink nose as opposed to Edwin’s black one. As we have watched them grow from two weeks old we see that the pattern of grey spots on their bodies is very different and Edwin is quite a lot the bigger than Alphonse in general. His coat has larger areas of grey than Alphonse. While Alphonse has two grey blotches that in just the right position look like hearts.
Alphonse though smaller is definitely the more mischievous little boy. He is a little troublemaker and so full of energy. Edwin follows close behind him. They are play monsters and everything in the world is an interesting toy to them. Including you. They are so much fun to watch.
These brothers MUST be adopted together. They are so devoted to each other that they cry when separated .
Edwin and Alphonse come to you neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, combo tested, and wormed. They are treasures and will bring their new families years of pleasure.
These beautiful boys eat wet and dry food and are litter box perfect.
Their foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or email toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
