Born 7/1/2010, M, Brown Spotted Tabby Purebred Bengal
Tigger is a big and beautiful brown spotted Bengal with gorgeous green eyes and a silky coat. He has been with his family since he was a kitten and has been pampered and loved his whole life. Tigger is a sweet, gentle soul and loves being with his people, but is also very independent and enjoys time by himself. He is a little shy at first, but he warms up to new people, kids, and animals quickly.
Tigger is equally at home indoors and outdoors. When outdoors, he is good on a leash, but most of the time he explores the neighborhood on his own and never strays too far from home. In fact, he loves to follow his people for long walks, running behind exploring, and meowing when he wants to catch up. Indoors, he likes to saunter around and find nooks and crannies to curl up in. Mostly he enjoys lounging around, especially by the fireplace, in his cat tree, or nearby his people. Curling up in a ball and sleeping in his people’s bed is one of his favorite daytime activities.
Tigger is a very gentle cat. He never scratches or bites, and would rather walk away to avoid confrontation than be aggressive. He is fairly quiet, but will meow softly when he wants food, attention, or to go outside. He likes to be petted softly, but not for too long, on his terms. He is an occasional lap cat, but mostly he likes to sit nearby rather than on his people. He’s not fond of being picked up, but he will tolerate it if he needs to be moved. He loves to paw and nurse on his fleece blanket and will let you pet him there and purr for hours.
Tigger is bonded to his younger Bengal friend Rocky. Rocky joined the family as a kitten 4 years ago and they got along great from the beginning. Their family would really prefer that Tigger and Rocky are adopted as a pair. Tigger is also great with friendly dogs and children. He has been buddies with their small Terrier since he was a kitten and gets along great with their young toddler as well.
Tigger has great litterbox habits. He has even been quick to learn where his box is when we relocated it or have moved to a new home.
Please note that Tigger is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his current owner in Issaquah WA while being placed in his permanent home.
