THE THIRD CAT OF CHRISTMAS: SASHA
Sometimes it’s just hard…
Sasha has been in foster care for over a year now. She is a beautiful cat and in excellent health. The catch? She is 14 years old and needs to be an only cat, she does not like or tolerate other cats well. We love her, but we also foster kittens, and because of this Sasha has to be kept in an office without the ability to freely roam the house.
We know Sasha dreams about the day when she will have a forever home.
When I have almost come to the end of my rope,
You would see my face, and I would finally have hope.
You would take me home, give me food and a bed,
And would share your own pillow with my poor tired head.
We would snuggle and play, and you would talk to me low,
You would love me so dearly, you would want me to know.
I might have lived most of my life with another,
But you would outshine them with a love so much stronger.
And I would promise to return all the love I could give,
To you, my dear person, as long as I would live.
I would be with you for many or for maybe just a few years,
We would share many smiles, you would no doubt shed tears.
And when the time comes that God deems I have to leave,
I know you would cry and your heart, it would grieve.
And when I arrive at the Bridge, all brand new,
My thoughts and my heart would still be with you.
And I would brag to all who will hear,
Of the person who made my last years so dear.
Can you or someone you know make Sasha’s dream come true? It would be a true blessing if Sasha had a real loving home…for the rest of her life.
You, our supporter’s, made it possible for us to take Sasha in and provide her with the needed medical check up, major dental work and loving care she was in dire need of. We are forever grateful for the kindness and compassion you show for Sasha and other cats in need.
