About This Cat

Born ~3/1/17, M, White Mitted Seal point Siamese/Ragdoll mix

Well they don’t come any cuter than this little darling boy. He is everything wonderful – happy, playful, curious, he purrs while lying in your arms and loves to be held. He came from a family who had too many cats and I was so pleased to foster him. He was a love bug even before he came to me, they gave him great early love.

He is a seal point kitten with dark brown on his head ears and tail. His creamy body will darken a bit as he ages – you can already see the coloring coming in. He has white feet (he is “white mitted”) which I always enjoy. His dark tail is extra-long and very expressive. He is too young to tell how long his fur will be when he matures. He hasn’t lived long enough for it to grow long yet. His mother, Izidora, is a Ragdoll with quite a long coat. (You can see her on the Ragdoll page.) He will probably match her darker colors some day.

Rutherford loves everything. He loves all manner of play. He loves all toys; in fact the world is his toy including the people in it. Cardboard boxes are a plus. Nice guy.

Rutherford eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment.  Why?  This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other.  A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
