Yes, this certainly is a very beautiful ragdoll girl. She was bought as a kitten from a breeder and she comes with all her papers. Monrou was much loved and well cared for by her mom. Life circumstances caused her to have to be regretfully owner surrendered. This was through no fault of her own. My sympathies to her mom, it would be so hard to have to give this wonderful girl up.
You might think Monrou (pronounced Monroe) with her great beauty would be a demanding diva cat. She is not really; she is actually a very good natured, sweet behaved girl. Now she won’t tolerate a dirty unscooped litterbox or food she doesn’t like. She does expect a certain measure of correctness in her care but aside from those very natural desires she isn’t stuck up at all.
She lived with a Siamese male who recently died. He was her best buddy and she is lonely without him and would like a new friend. Her mom gave her lots of attention and that is what she really wants. Lots of love and connection with her human. So poor Monrou is a little sad, quieter than usual, to find herself in a foster home. I am surprised actually, how well she has done. I have not had her long. Ragdolls usually do not take change well at all. They are emotional cats, very connected with their humans.
Monrou really likes to play with her toys. Her first day with me when I presented her with her toys one at a time she sniffed each one carefully and then put a paw out and pulled each one partly under herself. “My toys” she said. She very much likes to play and have her possessions. She needs a quiet, stable home where she can be satisfied with all the attention she gets. I would not suggest a home full of children or barking dogs or aggressive cats. She would like her new family to be home with her much of the time so they can admire her and cuddle with her. I expect she would be a wonderful late night TV watching companion.
She has a big fluffy gorgeous coat and fortunately she likes to be brushed. It is very full but does not matt the way a Persian’s does. Her eyes seem to stay clean . Her health seems to be perfect.
Monrou eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
