Look out, coming through! Hi there, Hiroki here! Oh look a funny flat thing with a moving thing on it! My foster mom says it’s an iPad with a fish game but I don’t care, it’s just great fun to pounce on. Oh, what’s that….is that a ball? I love balls! Is that a feather toy? Got that too! What is that shiny thing around my foster Mom’s neck! I got it! What’s my sister doing…wait for it…got her!
Hiroki is a little Singapura that has many of the Burmese physical traits. His name means an abundance of joy and love and boy does have that! He is the largest of these three kittens. He is very smart and I swear he understands what you say to him! He carries his toys around the room which is quite endearing! All three of these kittens have developed the adorable habit of rearing up on their hind legs to pounce on things, and each other. They are so small and it is so cute to see them do this. Hiroki will follow you around if he wants attention and will occasionally talk to you if you don’t pay attention quick enough!
The three kittens, Hiroki, Takara and Emiko, had a Singapura Mom who weighed about 7 pounds and was a darker ruddy chocolate color and a Burmese Dad. We believe the Mom had Burmese in her background. Many breeders cross Singapuras with Burmese since the breeds have very similar personalities and characteristics. This can result in a wider span of colors and a more robust and healthy cat, since the gene pool for Singapuras is limited. These three kittens are an awesome example of this! Hiroki is more Burmese while Takara and Emiko are Singapuras.
Hiroki will be ready to go home the middle of November. He currently weighs in at 2.1 lbs. and is about 10 weeks old as of October 29th! The adoption timing is estimated as they need to be a certain weight to be fixed before they can go home. Hiroki will come to you fully vetted, up-to date on vaccines, de-wormed, microchipped, neutered and FIV/FLEV negative and of course he is litterbox perfect.
Hiroki is fostered in Reno, NV.

This is a highly active, curious and affectionate cat. He may be small, but he knows he’s in charge. Expect him to supervise everything you do and to bluff you into leaving him alone when there’s something he doesn’t want to do, such as get his nails trimmed. He loves attention from his family so much that he sometimes has the reputation of being a pest.
The Singapura is usually cautious and shy when it comes to meeting new people, however some are friends with everyone. They typically get along well with other cats—especially other Singapuras. One thing they don’t like is a lot of loud noise, so screaming children and a very loud boisterous house hold could have them shrinking away in horror and hiding.
They are people-oriented and require regular, quality human interaction. Other cats for company will not be sufficient, your attention is required, greatly appreciated, and adorably reciprocated.
These cats come in “sepia agouti”. Agouti or “ticked” coats have bands of color around each strand of hair giving a rich, shaded quality, think Abyssinian coat. The sepia tones are ivory to ruddy to dark chocolate, and the underside of the cat is a lighter shade. The weight of a full grown cat is 6-8 pounds.
