Born 2009, Female, Blue Point Siamese/Snowshoe Mix, Front Paw Declawed
Absolutely adorable immediately comes to mind when looking at pictures of this precious girl. Such a sweet face and look at that cute birthmark that matches her 4 white mittens! Cindy is a shy, but oh so sweet girl. She has come a long way since her Daddy passed away and she was taken to the shelter.
We just know that shelters are no environments for these precious little kitties, and for some reason, purebred kitties seem to have an even harder time in a shelter environment.
Cindy was obviously very scared and didn’t understand what happened to the world she loved. When our organization heard about her, we just knew we needed to come to her rescue. Cindy is now at her foster mom’s house waiting for her furever home. When she first came to into foster care, she hid out in her “kitty cave” and would only come out of her hiding spot to eat and use her litter box when no one was around.
Her foster mom took extra time to read to her, watch TV in her room, do paperwork so Cindy could watch and over time Cindy started to feel safe and now she comes out to greet her foster mom. She is comfortable being picked up, and enjoys being petted and brushed. She enjoys playing with that pesky mouse on a string thing. Cindy is still healing from the trauma of losing her original owner and spending time in a shelter. She is still quite shy with new voices but she does warm up. Her meow and purr are very soft and so is her thick coat of fur.
Her foster mom thinks she would do best in a quiet home with no other cats. After all she does not have the normal kitty defenses since she does not have front claws. With loving, patient and understanding humans, Cindy has all the signs for becoming a sweet little snuggle bug in the not too distant future.
Cindy will come to you spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
She eats both wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Cindy is fostered in the Elk Grove area.
